Our mission is to empower children and young people to reach their full potential through elite lead and research based basketball programs built on these five foundations:

COURT SKILLS

Provide researched based drills focussing on excellent foundational skill development of ball handling, passing, shooting, & rebounding.

Through our Court Skills Development training we:

Small group basketball session focused on passing and team communication.

Provide research based drills focussing on skill development of ball handling, shooting, rebounding, dribbling.

Develop a player’s offensive and defensive court presence.

Nurture individual players to maximise their skills in relation to their preferred playing position.

Instil a positive team culture and attitude within our athletes.

POWER

Provide a structured strength and conditioning program to maximise each players athletic performance and foster a lifelong foundation of appropriate training techniques.

Through our Power Development training we:

Provide scientifically designed strength and conditioning programs that develop key components of basketball performance including strength, fitness, speed, agility and dynamic jump.

Programs designed and tailored to the individual players needs with respect to age, gender and capacity.

We provide an initial assessment of your athlete’s baseline strength, fitness, and functional capacity metrics, to be evaluated throughout the programme to maximise needs versus outcome improvements.

We structure our strength and conditioning program around accountability, where each child is taught how to monitor their progress to reach their desired goals.

FUEL

Achieving maximum results for every aspect of athletic performance is driven by the fuel we provide our bodies.

Through our Fuel Skills Development training we:

Educate athlete’s and their caregivers on the foundations of good sports nutrition including the use of protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats to promote strength, fitness, performance and recovery.

We educate on the importance of hydration in fitness building, game days, and recovery.

Instil a foundation of positive body image and nutritional integrity by encouraging accountability around maximising healthy choices.

REsilience

We recognise that each child comes to us with a unique mindset that is shaped by family and social influences, environmental and financial factors, mental and physical health, and their ability to navigate the world around them.

Through our Resilience Development training we:

Provide education around goal setting including the steps and skills to monitor, progress and reach both individual and team goals.

We provide education and support for dealing with sports related performance anxiety, managing outside expectations and minimising burnout.

We maximise athletic through teaching resilience around feedback, failure and expectation, whilst maximising performance outcomes through visualisation, regular feedback from coaches and a supportive environment.

We recognise that resilient athlete’s keep moving forward for the good of themselves, the team and their broader community.

Recovery

Minimising fatigue, injury, illness and burnout is the cornerstone to maximising athletic performance outcomes and is integral for the longevity of an athlete’s career.

Through our Recovery Skills Development we:

Rest and recovery are essential for athletes as they promote physical recovery, prevent injuries, and optimise performance.

Teach athletes the foundational skills involved with active recovery to maintain, develop and restore the body after training in the gym, on the court or after a game.

We provide education and support around prevention and injury management.

We will educate your athlete on the vital components of rest, time off and activity diversity to maximise performance.
