THE HALF WAY MARK.

We’ve officially hit the halfway mark of our Term 1 program, and it’s time to pause, reflect, and reset for the weeks ahead. So far, you’ve put in the work—sharpening your skills, pushing your limits, and embracing the challenges that come with high-performance training.

This week, your challenge is to take a step back and reflect on your journey so far.

  • What are your biggest wins—the moments where you felt proud of your progress?

  • What challenges have tested you the most, and how did you push through?

  • And most importantly, where do you see room to push yourself even further in the second half of the program?

  • Whether it’s refining a specific skill, improving your mindset, or stepping up as a leader, now is the time to reset your goals and attack the rest of the program with even greater focus and determination.

CHALLENGE YOURSELF

The Extra 1%

This week, your challenge is to find one extra way to push yourself beyond your comfort zone—because sometimes, that extra 1% is what separates good from great.

Skill: Spend an extra 10 minutes before or after training refining a weakness—whether it’s your shooting form, footwork, or ball-handling.

Resilience: Set a personal mantra for the week and repeat it every time you feel doubt creeping in.

Leadership: Encourage a teammate, bring extra energy to training, or help someone who’s struggling.

Recovery: Focus on the small things—hydration, sleep, and stretching—to keep your body performing at its peak.

At the end of the week, reflect: Where did you push yourself? What impact did it have? How can you keep that momentum going?

SKILL OF THE WEEK -

This week, Coach Ryan focused on improving our athletes' speed and agility, emphasizing staying low and mastering quick changes in direction. Athletes worked on using a speed dribble to create separation and gain an advantage before putting their skills to the test in live 1v1 drills. They also honed their ability to transition from high-speed dribbling to controlled, balanced stops, reinforcing precision and control under pressure.
