INTRODUCING, COACH ISSY

Issy began playing basketball at age 4 through Aussie Hoops at Broadmeadow and went on to represent the Newcastle Hunters as a junior. At 16, she moved to the Australian Institute of Sport and has represented NSW Country at multiple national championships. She captained several junior Australian teams at World Cups and international qualifiers.

Issy played five years of Division I college basketball in the U.S. with the University of Texas Longhorns and the Utah Utes, where she helped her team reach the Sweet 16 in the NCAA March Madness tournament.

A scoring point guard/ shooting guard known for her ball-handling and ability to break down defenders, Issy is passionate about developing young talent and giving back to the basketball community in her hometown. She loves helping athletes reach their full potential and finding their own unique game as a player.
