Focus

The Level Up Program is a structured 8-week skills and strength development program designed to support players and athletes of all levels to level up their basketball performance and mindset.

Athletes are placed into small training groups of no more than five players, carefully matched based on experience, skill set, and development needs. This small-group format allows for personalised coaching, targeted feedback, and accelerated growth.

The program is built around five core foundations that support holistic athlete development:

  • Skills: technical and tactical basketball development

  • Power: strength, movement, and physical capacity

  • Fuel: education around nutrition and performance support

  • Resilience: confidence, mindset, and consistency

  • Recovery: load management, rest, and injury prevention

Key Skill Areas

Throughout the program, athletes develop advanced basketball concepts, including:

  • Reading Defences
    Understanding help-side positioning, closeouts, traps, and defensive rotations

  • Creating Advantages
    Developing 1-on-1 scoring, using space effectively, and attacking driving angles

  • Playing Without the Ball
    Improving spacing, cutting, relocation, and off-ball awareness

  • Pick-and-Roll Concepts
    Ball-handler reads, decision-making, and passing angles

  • Defensive Recognition
    Anticipation, closeouts, rotations, and team defensive principles

  • Strength & Conditioning
    Agility drills, jumping, dynamic stretching, game preparation
